ExAlta-1 to Launch This Summer… and It’s No Bigger Than A Loaf of Bread

Experimental Albertan #1 (ExAlta-1) is the the first satellite to be made in Alberta that will be launched into space. We spoke on the phone with Chris Robson, who is the Mechanical Lead for ExAlta-1 at the University of Alberta. Robson helps design the satellite as an extracurricular activity. He says working with QB50 has been an amazing opportunity to take their work out of this world, and he’s learned so much more from participating in the project.
